Rib Loc Australia is the worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of innovative pipe products, pipe machinery and pipeline rehabilitation technologies. The brief called for the design of four new Visual Identities (logos), for each of the Rib Loc sub-brands: Expanda, Rotaloc, Ribline & Ribsteel. The Rib Loc sub-brand systems consist of a factory manufactured continuous plastic profile strip which is spirally wound into the deteriorated host pipe to form a lightweight liner of high stiffness.
Alex provided Creative Direction for the Visual Identity Design and was Senior Art Director / New Media Developer for the Rib Loc Australia website.
Each Visual Identity served to easily identity each installation system. Founded upon the visual cues of products, machinery and rehabilitation technologies, Alex investigated the properties of each System – how does it function? – how does it rotate? – how does it fit inside exiting pipelines?
The result – an award winning set of Visual Identities, true to each System, contemporary and timeless.
